Initial organizational meeting.

I'm canceling the October meeting because I'm unable to be there. Let's all try to meet in Novemeber. I moved it forward a week so that it won't step on Thanksgiving.

Sorry for the late notice.

What members are saying

I am a member of NYOG as well and I must say that Postgres will not go anywhere fast unless the users are able to organize themselves a bit better. This is awful. ...

There are other postgres users out here. I think this group can be made to work.

“i've done ora for almost two decades; pg has always held my fascination, being syntactically close and open source. it seems i was autoenrolled in a mySQL meetup; that prompted me to look for pg meetups. mySQL fits the purpose of many, but not me.”

“I want to learn some computer languages.... I need to pick which language I want to learn first....I think learning a database language would help make me more employable :).. And possibly meet some computer programmers that could give me some advice”
